We realize that long course racing isn’t for everyone. Maybe you are just getting into the sport and want to test the waters with a Sprint or Olympic distance triathlon. Maybe you prefer short course and are looking to get faster. We can help with both. Total Intensity Sports has introduced the sport of triathlon to many people and helped them make the sport a part of their lifestyle. We also have a rich history of creating very strong athletes at the Olympic distance. Locally, we have coached multiple athletes who have won the Tri-for-Real Series over the years. We’ve also helped several athletes gain their professional license to race at the Elite level. We have the tools and experience to make you faster too.
This is what Total Intensity Sports is all about – taking you to a higher level and helping you achieve your racing goals.
While short course racing doesn’t require the extensive training hours that long-course does, we still suggest a minimum of three months to help you train and prepare for your race. If you are new to triathlon, there are a lot of nuances to learn about triathlon and how to put the three disciplines together. This takes time and practice. If you are looking to get faster, it doesn’t happen overnight. It requires time to build strength and speed. Our focused strength training program combined with speed-based swimming, biking and running will get you to the finish line faster.
